Italy’s Fiat factory built a vehicle test track in 1929
Fiat is an abbreviation that stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino, which means Italian Automobile Factory of Turin. Founded in 1899, the company produces cars and diesel engines for other vehicle manufacturers. And they also developed defense airplanes.
The most shocking part of Turin’s factory is that its rooftop has had a test track since 1929. They were far ahead of the competition by materializing such a visionary idea, right? Fiat’s original rooftop is still open to those who wish to visit it.
