This scarlet sky is the result of a devastating wildfire in Australia
Wildfires sometimes occur naturally due to extreme Sun heat or lightning strikes. However, most of them are the result of human activity. These fires not only scorch millions of acres of land but also kill thousands of wild species and produce human casualties.
In the picture above, you’ll see the effect of a wildfire in Australia known as the “Bushfires.” According to WWF, up to 19 million hectares were burnt during that time. The scarlet shade isn’t a filter but the fire’s effect on the color of the sky.
