These police officers added real tail lights to their horses
According to the U.S Department of Transportation, over one million animals die every year due to car accidents. To solve this issue, these police officers implemented a plan that prevents their horses from being run over when it gets dark.
The solution they came up with was adding lights to the animals’ tails, so they became more visible to all the passengers on the road. Though it probably isn’t the most comfortable accessory, it’s highly effective to keep them safe.
