This fall landscape reflected beautifully in the water
Reflections in water are many photographers’ best friends, as they add a superb touch to pictures and mimic the effect of a gigantic mirror. However, the water needs to be completely still for this last factor to work.
The photo above provides the best example of this. Given that the water was so still, there wasn’t any distortion in the reflection whatsoever. In fact, if you flipped the picture upside down, you wouldn’t be able to tell which is the original angle.
