This plant grew tomatoes on a gradient
It’s common to eat tomatoes on their own or cooked to make the tastiest sauce for your pasta. But have you ever seen a picture of a tomato plant? Before they’re fully ripe, they begin growing in a shape that resembles a tiny strawberry.
This tomato plant features a strange singularity. As you can see, the tomatoes start tiny and green at the bottom and slowly change in color and size as they reach the top of the stalk. This gradient of ripeness is useful for understanding its different stages of growth.
