It’s common knowledge that animals’ fur matches their surroundings in order for them to camouflage and avoid being devoured by predators. This person was probably binge-watching nature documentaries and thought it’d be interesting to have a grass car.
It’s likely this person lives in the countryside. The grass, of course, is fake. Otherwise, they’d have to water it, and it’d look even stranger. If they wanted their car to look intriguing, they got what they were searching for.
