Let’s pretend we don’t know her
Imagine arriving at the airport and seeing someone with this sign. We would at least stick around to see who would approach it. This clever sign was this girl’s way of embarrassing her friends or family, and we’re sure she succeeded, because the subject she chose is at least controversial.
We hope no stranger approached her thinking the sign was real, in which case she would be the surprised one. The sign reminds us of Phoebe’s song on Friends, “Smelly cat,” and we can say the same thing to the people this woman was supposed to pick up: it’s not her fault.
