Bees not only pollinate our plants and make them grow, but they also symbolize light, renewed life, and community. That’s why they’re used quite often in tattoos. Still, the honeycombs this person got tattooed on their leg are mesmerizing.
We think this tattoo stands out from the rest because it looks like the skin is just another layer on top of the honeycombs. Another cool feature of this work of art is that the artist created the optical illusion that bees are crawling around their client’s leg with a few shadowing and lighting techniques.
