Some say millennials hate phone calls, and they may have a point. Our old-school readers can tell this amusing Twitter story happened a long, long time ago because it features people using a landline. The following vintage tweet shows us that, once again, lies have no legs.
We guess that this was also before the caller ID even existed since this friend would have realized Ed was phoning from his house. Those were simpler days, with simpler difficulties, such as a mother calling and debunking the lie we just told. We hope Ed’s friend is still not mad at him for lying.
