A reference to a classic movie made this sign perfect for a cinema
One of Steven Spielberg’s first movies was called Close Encounters of the Third Kind and told the story of an ordinary electrician that stumbles across a UFO. This cinema used the cult classic’s name to make a cheeky pun.
Did you get it? During 2020, close encounters were to be avoided. It was the best way to tell everyone that the venue would be closed until further notice. Movie buffs were sure to appreciate the reference.
