Watching too many horror films can have serious consequences, one of them being an increase in feeling like you’re being watched. However scared people get after leaving the cinema, they seem to forget and return to watch another film that ruins their sleeping pattern. Perhaps they want to prove to themselves that they’ll get over it.
A famous horror scene is featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, with a woman taking a shower and being interrupted by the sight of a knife that threatens her life. Perhaps Twitter user @90sKid00231029 saw that classic film and got scarred for life. Would shouting “I know you’re here!” discourage a killer, though?
