A complicated toothpaste standoff
This is another fundamental rule of marriage: whoever finishes something is the one who has to replenish it. It’s a simple mechanic that keeps the distribution of chores fair between the couple. Yet, you can have loopholes in this rule.
Any of us would consider that there’s no more toothpaste in this case. But this person wanted to avoid taking it out for as long as possible. So the only alternative was to cut the tube open and use the leftover toothpaste from its sides.
