A worthless pencil eraser
Here is a situation that you have probably dealt with in your childhood. Have you ever made your parents buy you a cool pencil just for its eraser to be completely useless? It is certainly frustrating, but everyone deals with this at least once.
Not only are these erasers completely useless to actually erase anything, but they might also make an even bigger mess than what you had in the first place. Not to mention that if you pressed them hard on the paper sheet, they would break it.
