As you’ve read about before, alcohol encourages people to act in a way they normally wouldn’t. This includes hugging trees, talking to strangers as if they knew them all the way from elementary school, and, sometimes, kissing. While some drunk party animals tend to become depressed or aggressive, others get overly affectionate.
This is probably what happened with these two women. The best detail of this snapshot is the flabbergasted expression on the guy’s face behind them. Chances are he had a crush on one of them and just didn’t see that coming. Perhaps he found another date by the end of the party.
