A salary to keep up with the times
That’s such a vague argument when one doesn’t have enough money to keep up with their bills and monthly expenditure. People who are too lazy to work and earn well think of it as a ‘get out of trouble for free’ pass, excusing them from retrospection. Money is essential for survival; we have bills to pay, and inflation doesn’t help.
We think that those who have enough to pay their bills, pay for their basic needs, and save some left for emergencies can safely say that money isn’t something that buys happiness. But you sure have to pay your bills! Regardless you’re happy or not!
