And the favorite child is… the dog!
People who never had pets won’t understand how people who own animals feel about them. According to this person, they are just like family members ─ like a child or a sibling. Once my family got a dog, it was like a sister to me and a daughter to my mom.
However, when parents have a favorite kid, they’re usually human. This woman’s pet was her father’s favorite child. Looking from the outside, this has got to be the dumbest situation. It reminds us of Jay Pritchett from Modern Family choosing his dog Stella over his kids, Many and Joe.
