What it is like to be a kid
Before I had this job and the previous one, I used to babysit (a lot). I have learned that babies are the best, two and three-year-olds are the worst, and older kids are hilarious. Five or six-year-olds are little people with personalities, life theories, and dreams.
It is pretty fascinating to hear what a five-year-old has to say. The way they speak about things, how they think life is structured, can be fun but can also make one think: “I used to think like this too. Maybe there are things I’m still wrong about”.
