Fall Desserts We Are SO Ready For

Allow us to paint the picture for you: it’s a picture-perfect fall day, the air is cool, the windows are open, you’ve just brewed your favorite cup of coffee and as you’re curled up in your favorite chair about to crack open your current read, you think to yourself: “I could really go for a little something sweet right now”. If this sounds like something that would happen to you, we’re here to help with that last part, ya know, the fall pastry sweetness part. Here is our list of fall desserts we absolutely can’t wait to bake and sink our teeth into. Literally.

Caramel Apple Pie

Caramel apple pie is one of our go-to fall desserts; after all, apples are at their peak throughout the fall and everything’s better with a little caramel drizzled over it. We have a couple of pointers for this recipe: one, instead of making your own crust or snagging a frozen one, make one out of canned cinnamon rolls, seriously. Thank us later. And two, the finished product is best served warm under a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. (Xanax)

Pumpkin Torte

If you want a dessert that encapsulates every fall flavor, you’ll want to whip up this pumpkin torte! It’s got layers of pumpkin (obviously), buttercream (or cream cheese, whichever you prefer), caramel, and nuts. This is the perfect dessert to pair with coffee on a cool fall evening or if you’re hosting a dinner party and want to make something fancy.

Chai Latte Cupcakes

If pumpkin spice or maple pecan really isn’t your thing, give these chai latte cupcakes a try! They’re light with just a touch of spice and the buttercream frosting is quite literally the icing on the (cup)cake. Make these for any fall parties or save them all for yourself – we won’t tell!

Pumpkin Pudding

If you prefer a no-fuss dessert, we’ve got just what you’re after: pumpkin pie pudding cups! All the goodness of eating a cold slice of pumpkin pie, just in a different form! The recipe calls for a classic graham cracker crust, but if we may, we suggest replacing graham crackers with golden Oreos! Again, thank us later.
