This picture can’t be from 1979 because Gatorade didn’t exist back then
Whether you like it or not, we live in a world where almost everyone wants to go viral and leave a mark on the Internet. To do so, some individuals would do anything, even making up stories behind ordinary pictures.
This person, for instance, decided to tell the world this picture was from a 1979 grocery store. To an untrained eye, it may look like it. Still, if you take a closer look, you’ll see a Gatorade stand, which wasn’t invented until 1988.
