Stealing a drawing from DeviantArt
For some reason, internet users seek online validation all the time. They want to be recognized as pretty, intelligent, or talented and would do anything to achieve it. This person, for instance, uploaded an incredible sketch inspired by the book Alice in Wonderland and claimed they drew it themselves.
Someone on their friend list recognized that the Facebook user couldn’t be the person behind the drawing. So, they did a quick reverse image search and shared the original illustrator in the comments. Trying to pass someone else’s work as your own never ends well.
