This is precisely why people should never swim in the ocean when it’s dark. Nobody knows what is hidden beneath the surface. No one wants to get stung by jellyfish, kick a seal, or be pulled to the bottom of the ocean by a great white shark. So, Heather chose to go against the flow and had a dangerous encounter.

Whoever arrives late at night after a long journey and thinks to themselves that going for a late-night swim is a great idea is not thinking straight. Swimming in the ocean when there is no natural light is scary enough. Nobody in their right mind should think it is a safe or good idea to swim in the dark.
