Disturbing Facts We Would Have Been Fine Not Knowing

Some may call these disturbing facts, and they are, but you can also think of them as winning Jeopardy answers because hey, they could be. Let’s just get right into it, shall we? 

When we think of blood-sucking insects our brains go right to mosquitos, but did you know that butterflies fancy drinking blood as well? In fact, butterflies tend to migrate around mud, feces, tears, and even decaying flesh. They don’t do this to gross us out, they’re just on the hunt for some minerals. 

Heartbreak can cause such a massive flood of emotions that a person can actually have a fatal heart attack from it. So, yes, it’s possible to die of a broken heart.

Have you ever walked into a restaurant and the smell of garlic punches you right in the face? Glorious, isn’t it? When we smell something molecules from that something are sticking to the inside of our nose. Now, this is a pleasant afterthought when we’re talking about garlic or fresh-baked goods, but uhm, think about all of the gross smells you’ve smelled before. Not so pleasant anymore, is it?

We aren’t saying you aren’t happy right now, but we are saying that more than likely your happiness peaked at the age of 21, and you won’t reach that level of happiness again until after retirement. We don’t know what to do with this information.

While mentally you’re totally aware of what’s going on, the rest of you kind of locks p to where the only thing you can move is your eyes. If you aren’t properly diagnosed, your doctor and your family could very easily think you’re brain dead. This is our nightmare.
