Halloween is right around the corner (basically) and as a pet owner you’re not only responsible for your own Halloween costume, but your pet’s Halloween costume as well. Not only does a good pet costume make for a picture-perfect moment, but after the 2020 we all had, seeing a doggo dressed up as a hooman complete with little arms or even a little hat is the comedic relief we all need and deserve.
We’ve compiled a list of our absolute favorite Halloween costumes for your furry family member. Just remember to measure your pet before you order their costume to ensure it will fit.
Granny
Okay, see what we mean about a comedic relief? Is there anything more adorable and funny than the center of your world dressed as a little old lady? We certainly don’t think so. We also like to think that this is a costume that can simply be put on your fur baby when you’re having a bad day and need a good laugh.
Sunflower
This costume is just for your feline friends, and we’re absolutely obsessed with it. This is a great costume for cats that don’t particularly like to wear clothing; not that we think this will probably go over any better, but the results are adorable, so it is worth a try.
Narwal, The Unicorn of the Sea
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any cuter, your human baby and your fur baby can actually have matching narwhal costumes, and we’re sure it doesn’t get any sweeter than this. And who doesn’t want a soft horn they can poke people with?! As a bonus, your family could totally plan an Elf-themed Christmas card! (If you know, you know!)
Beetlejuice
We would say ‘Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!’ just to see that little face! If you’re a fan of the film or just love the look, you for sure need to snag this costume for your furry friend. If you’re going for a family costume, your dog being Beetlejuice is just about the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
Showgirl
If your cat and/or dog likes to feel extra fancy, then we highly suggest this very fancy showgirl costume. An added bonus to this costume is that if you ever want your fur baby to dress fancy for dinner or other special events, they’ll always have something to wear.
