We need to apologize to Kellogg’s because their feelings might be terribly hurt after all the negative reviews they might have gotten after creating the Chex Green Onion flavored cereal. What were they thinking? Some flavors are best left in soups and stews!
Several people have said the Chex Green Onion flavor may work as a savory snack for older people since the onion smell and taste is mild with a slightly sweet taste, but the disaster begins when it is put in a bowl with milk. So, I ask, what is cereal without milk? The entire smell and taste of onion intensifies with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Prepare to gag on the first taste, and then ruin the taste of the milk too! But guess what? This flavor has been very popular in Asia for 16 years! So, what they say is definitely true; one man’s food is another’s poison.
