Bringing a balloon with an incriminating message to class
We cannot say this enough times: if you want to skip class, you have to get rid of all the evidence. Tieing loose ends is essential for your plan to be successful. Sadly, @MDavisbot was not aware of this when she left her class to go to a mall opening.
Was it a bad call to keep the balloon after leaving the mall? Absolutely. Probably she was so nervous she could not think straight. Or perhaps she was so excited about the opening and the ballon that she simply forgot that she was not supposed to take it back to school.
