If there is a skill you want to improve on, you should always know that practice makes perfect. And for that, you just need to be committed to the task. The more you get into it, the sooner you master that skill. But if you are not interested, you can always fake it.
@CorrinneDiller did not enjoy her piano practice, so she decided to get away with it. Well, that is what she thought she was doing. She left her piano playing pre-recorded scales, so her mother believed she was practicing. But it was a matter of time until her parent caught her off guard.
