She got called out during a meeting and was not paying attention
Why is it that when we have to pay close attention to an important speech, like in a meeting or a class, we simply cannot focus on the person speaking? It is a little easier to pass the time writing notes or doodling on our notebooks when we are in school.
Yet, @BelleofBabble took it a step further and decided that the best way to stay amused during a work meeting was to write down the entire speech from Independence Day. It must have been super embarrassing for them to explain that they actually did not have any notes from that meeting.
