When it’s your first flight
Trying new things feels intimidating and scary. What if I mess things up? What if I get clumsy and make a laughing stock out of myself? What if things don’t go the way I expected them to? All these thoughts clutter our minds and never stop making us nervous. At such times, it always feels good to know that we are not the only ones in this position; someone else is in our shoes too!
However, this doesn’t look like a very comforting thought if your pilot says the same thing to you too. Of course, they know their job well, but still, this wasn’t something you’d expect as a satisfactory consolation. If anything, it might end up scaring one even more.
