Beware of bears
What’s the best way to ruin a wedding? Casually mention how everyone should go home in a car because the state is full of bears, so ‘walking home might be unsafe.’ That’s probably the last thing you want to hear after a fun night of partying, music, and happiness!
We wouldn’t even want to leave the venue until the break of dawn if we were told such a horrible thing. Who would want to encounter a bear in the middle of the night, even if they were in a car! Pro-tip, always keep a bear spray handy if visiting upstate New York.
