Walking would have been better
Here’s something most mothers would say: “lazy people end up working harder.” And this phrase applies very well to this story. We never see vans or cars on the beach, and there is a reason for this. Vehicles don’t work very well in wet sand, and what happened to this couple can happen to anyone.
They didn’t want to walk all the way from the parking lot to the beach, so they decided to take the car there. But their choice was terrible, as the tide reached their car and buried it in the sand. They ended up putting in much more effort.
