Someone covered their computer’s fan with duct tape
An increase in laptop fan noise is often caused by your computer heating up too much. This, in turn, could be the consequence of a build of dust inside your device. If you’re dealing with this problem, the most reasonable idea is to call technical support.
However, this laptop owner’s logic works the other way around. First, they implemented their thought-up solution in the shape of duct tape-covered fans, and then they decided to ask for an expert’s advice. Unfortunately, they were exposed by this perplexed worker.
