Internships imply that the company you work for instructs you what to do and that you have no control over the work you do. It seems pretty simple in theory. Well, no, not at all. Ben had one of the worst summer jobs of his life, interning at a baseball complex.
This man’s primary function at work was to clean vomit and dirty bathrooms. But who vomits so much at games that someone has to clean up after them? This is brand-new territory. Ben hopefully learned that he should probably ask what his obligations will be before starting an internship or any other job.
