Taking care of 56 plants is not easy peasy
Plant maintenance as a summer job should be simple, right? That is a complete lie because sometimes it is not simple at all. When you are house-sitting 56 plants for two older people, you might have to spend a lot of time watering them. However, some people are out of depth and still manage to kill them.
Plants can be vulnerable and must be regularly checked. They may die if they are not properly cared for. That day, 44 of them perished, and her boss withheld money from her pay for each one that died, leaving her with a meager USD 9 paycheck. She clearly does not have a green thumb.
