Everyone knows someone who just can’t take a compliment. You could flatter them on the smallest detail, but their insecurity would lead them to discredit your comment or claim the exact opposite is true. Why don’t they say “thank you” and return the compliment later?

Not only was Hong Kong Garden’s owner unreceptive to this customer’s five-star review, but they willingly added extra information to tarnish the restaurant’s reputation. They probably won’t expand their clientele after that response, right? Well, at least they were honest.
