The first person with the power to influence students in school is the teacher, then the principal since they are a figure of authority and may even be a role model to some kids. So, what does it say when he appears drunk, to a football game of all things!
Disappointment doesn’t even cut it. He should remain on that leave of absence because these young men do not need such influences around them. It is hard to tell children not to do the things they see adults around them doing. So, what if they are caught underage drinking? How do you advise them when the principal came drunk to the school’s football game?
