Almost there
For a perfectionist, there is no safer place than an even number. How would you feel if you were just one number away from perfection? Maybe it was done on purpose to get a bigger paycheck. Someone is playing with fire here, and that’s not advisable at a gas station. But they wouldn’t. Would they?
This gives me war flashbacks to when my older brother would set the volume to an odd number just out of spite. Is one more cent the recipe for a perfectionist’s peace of mind? What would you do in a situation like this? Would you pay more? One thing is for sure; it would be even worse if it went one cent above.
