Lose-lose
Let’s say, if an object is called an eraser, let’s try to make it live up to that name. If its entire concept revolves around doing only one thing, let’s hope it does exactly that. If it does the opposite, something went wrong. Do you want to correct it? Don’t use this eraser, that’s the best advice we can give you.
It’s not like we would need it during a critical situation, like, I don’t know, a test? Someone has failed at their job creating this. Maybe you can switch to using a pen so that at least you would see what you are getting into. But then, perhaps the pen erases what you have already written. We can’t trust anyone.
