Someone’s parents gave them a birthday card for their graduation
We all know that it requires much work and effort to obtain a college degree. Graduations are special occasions when the institution recognizes the achievements you’ve made. So, you’d expect your family to give you a card that accurately represents how they feel at that moment.
We wouldn’t feel happy if we saw that our families recycle birthday cards for our graduation. It would’ve been easier to buy a new card for the occasion. Well, at least they remembered to send the graduated student a note, right?
