This is what the Paleontology department looks like on Halloween
This is what a typical day at work might look like if dinosaurs still existed and had evolved similarly to humans. They are paleontologists, so it seems quite logical they are so obsessed with dinosaurs that they even want to dress as if they were one.
Another possibility could be that one of them suggested that they all dress up as dinosaurs for Halloween, and they definitely nailed it. This is something Ross Geller from the TV show Friends would definitely approve of. As long as they do not learn how to open doors, everything will be just fine.
