The evolution of the Firefox logo
Everybody knows this brand, as their browser is one of the most widely used. For some web users, it is even their first pick. The iconic fox was used to represent browsing the web with the company’s software all over the world. It all began in 2002 with a photograph of a Phoenix bird.
This bird was revived from the ashes to become the renowned orange fox. The browser’s original name was Mozilla Firebird, but it was changed to Phoenix in 2003. FireFox has gone through many changes in the last few years and has updated the browser to make it more current. The new version is simpler, but the colors remain the same.
