You have probably seen the Gadsden flag at least once in your life. It is a historical American flag created in 1775 during the American Revolution. The emblem consists of a yellow field, and it depicts a timber rattlesnake with the words: “Don’t Tread on Me.” The following image shows a parodied version.

These days the Gadsden flag is associated with American political parties more inclined towards right-wing and liberal ideologies. Because of its political implications, it is no surprise that a parody flag like the one above exists. We can agree that this joke is funny regardless of your political affiliations.
