Happy Little Frog
Did you know that frogs have good night vision? Most frogs have bulging eyes that allow them to see in front, to the sides, and partially behind them. When a frog swallows, it pulls its eyes down into the roof of its mouth to assist in pushing the food down its throat.
Frogs were the first animals on land to have vocal cords. Moreover, male frogs have vocal sacs, which are pouches of skin filled with air. These amplify sounds like a megaphone, so frog sounds can be heard a mile away!
