The Dark Knight Rises: Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, Nottingham. Nottinghamshire. NG8 2AE
The Dark Knight franchise is my personal favorite among the Batman movie franchises. It starred Christian Bale, who played the titular role of Batman/Bruce Wayne, and featured the iconic Wayne’s Manor, which without a doubt is the most impressive movie house on this list.
The site used for the Wayne Family estate was Wollaton Hall, located in Nottingham, England. The building dates back to 1580 and was built by Sir Francis Willoughby. It was bought and opened as a museum by the Nottingham City Council in 1926. Being a museum, it is open to the public. Therefore Batman fans can easily view it. Aside from actually interacting with “Wayne Manor,” fans can spot over 200 wild deer in its Deer Park.
