The 2004 romance film The Notebook was based on a 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks. It starred Ryan Gosling as Noah and Rachel McAdams as Allie Hamilton, two people who fall in love in the 1940s and keep their love alive despite their parents disapproving of their relationship.
Noah’s house is a 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom estate that spans 4,255 sq. ft. and is just one of the 18 homes on the Martins Point Plantation, a 900-acre private waterfront community. The house costs about $12,000 per month to rent today.
