Witnessing an Abusive Father in Someone Else’s Home
A small child or teenager not only goes through an abusive and neglecting parent but one day has to become responsible for the slave-master relationships. Painful as it seems, we imagine the shock and confusion on the face of the visiting friend who had to sit through all that.
Thankfully, it stopped being a pattern for them as they got help from the eldest son, propelling the dad to become a better person. A happy ending, we must admit.
