Her grandmother told her that she’d give her something for her new house on Christmas. She promised it would be something she could remember her by, and it will keep her warm, but receiving a quilt with a kitten design wasn’t exactly what she’d hoped to receive that year.
When you become independent, every gift counts, and this gift looks very comfortable. Her grandma was actually right about something; her granddaughter will find it difficult to forget her after this gift. But hey, it would’ve been worse if she had gotten charcoal.
