Rita Hayworth wore a delicate diamond tennis necklace in Gilda (1946)
Gilda, released in 1946, stars Rita Hayworth as the titular character. Although the actress had already made a name for herself acting and dancing a few movies prior, her role as Gilda catapulted her to one of the top names in Hollywood.
In our opinion, Hayworth’s iconic Gilda outfit wouldn’t have been the same without the glamorous diamond tennis necklace we see in the picture. The thin choker was subtle but dazzling and went perfectly well with that strapless satin evening gown.
