Her neighbor’s dog had the same name
Imagine the following scenario: you move to a new neighborhood and a new house. Everything seems to be going well, but at night you start to hear that something, a mysterious presence, calls your name. We imagine the fear you feel. But, don’t worry, it has a logical explanation that will make you sigh in relief.
The rationale behind all of this is that there are people who have pet dogs, and clearly, there are times when they adopt the names of humans, such as Sophie, John, or Marley. So, there was no evil spirit calling you and trying to make contact with you; it was just the neighbor calling his dog since he had taken him for a walk.
