The response to this invitation was a little bit too late
Invitations are an essential part of every wedding. The soon-to-marry couple lists their final guests and thinks better of all the details: the amount of food, most of all, the seats, and the souvenirs, among other things. But we think they took more than the estimated time to respond here.
We wonder what happened for these guests to answer that they “couldn’t attend” SEVEN years later. Maybe their invitation was lost in the mail? Perhaps they received it, and since they were busy, they decided to keep it in a drawer to answer it later? No, we don’t think that’s it. We believe they had a lot of fun sending the answer, knowing it was sent a long time ago.
