Spot the failure: tiny and huge designers’ mistakes

An unfair running track

A running track has several rails. The start and finish lines are not the same for all of them because the route is often circular or oval. However, we wouldn’t want the number 8 on our shirts.

The start line should have an opposite curve, shortening the 8th rail to make it as long as the 1st one (which is already shorter because of the angle). The runner who gets rail #1 will have a much shorter track than the one running in rail #8.
